The Blueprint 3- Review

It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The highly-anticipated Jay album, leaked 2 days ago, is straight up crazii, man!!!!!!!!!

I - What We Talkin' Bout (ft. Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun) - Probably the best intro in Jay's career, it featured Luke Steele of the electronic duo Empire of the Sun and it is a crazy way 2 start off the album. Great lyrics and a different...but bangin' beat. 10/10
II - Thank You - Produced by Kanye West and No I.D., this record has, probably, the best beat on the album. Lyrics, of course..Pretty much.....It sounds like a Black Album b-side...nuff said. 10/10
III - D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune) - 1st single, devoted to killing the voice effect machine, Auto-Tune. With the famous sample of Steam's "Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye", the joint is straight up crazii... 9.75/10
IV - Run This Town (ft Kanye West & Rihanna) - With Kanye killin' the beats and Ri-Ri comin' bak, it's sure to be a hit...The video is hott and the reaction to it was crazii. 9.5/10
V - Empire State of Mind (ft Alicia Keys) - Dedicated to the Big Apple and havin' the everlastin' Ms. Keys on the track..itz gon b a crazii tribute...mos def.. 9.75/10
VI - Real As It Gets (ft Young Jeezy) - The gangsta d-boy track of the album with Jeeze spittin', thiz is wen Hov gets goin... 8.5/10
VII - On to The Next One (ft Swizz Beatz) - One of the hottest beatz on the album, Swizz doin' the chorus and Jay gettin' lyrical???!!!! Nuff said.. 10/10
VIII - Off That (ft Drake & Timbaland) - I ain't gon' lie.. Tim fallin' off. His contribution 2 the album made it less than classic..But with the good stuff.. Jay did his thing, Timbo wit the ad-libs but I'm suprised that Drizzy did'nt git a hott 16..C' mon Jay!!!! 7/10
IX - A Star Is Born (ft J. Cole) - Very solid joint...'Ye, of course, killed the beat..and Jay contributed very well..but whut caught my eye wuz the new dude frm RocNation..ma man J. Cole. He.can.spit. and if u say no...Git The Warm Up.... 10/10
X - Venus vs. Mars - I gotta say it...Timbo ruined it. Aiight, but the weakest song on the album..Jay did mediocre and the beat wasnt that good. 5.5/10
XI - Already Home (ft KiD CuDi) - Kanye and No I.D. did they thang as always and as tha great songwriter that he is..Cudder killed the hook..Tha hook realli changed the song. Jay killed it. Blueprint material. 9.75/10
XII - Hate (ft Kanye West) - Hot..but different beat..Kanye did the beat pretty good but...Hov couldn't do it as good as 'Ye. 8.5/10
XIII - Reminder - Like I said..Timbo..man...fallin. off. Jay tried his damnedst 2 kill it but it wasnt workin' and the chorus was annoyin' as HELLL!!!!!! 6.25/10
XIV - So Ambitious (ft Pharrell) - The onli beat made by ma man Phareal and Chad Hewz... u know how Jay and Rell do..instant classic.Beat was tough, great singin' by Pharell and Jay was on some Black Album stuff..real talk. 10/10
XV - Forever Young (ft Mr. Hudson) - Great way to end the anticipated album, Jay spits on a Yeezy beat wit Britain's own frm the Library...Mr. Hudz wailin' on the track (btw cop Straight No Chaser..October..). Hova endz it jus rite..not 2 gutter..not 2 wack.. 10/10
All and all..B3 is a classic..nuff said. Not as consistent as Black, not as lyrical as Blueprint 1. But I'm suprised that nobody from the ROC camp is on there (beside Kanye), no shockers like Jay, Drizz, The Cool Kids, Wale, Jay Electronica, Nas and Pac Div on 1 track wit 9th Wonder and Chuck Inglish killin the beat (that'd be craziii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and no returnin' producers like Just Blaze, 9th Wonder (last record they made was Threat..c'mon now!!!), Eminem, Syience (him and J. Cole are cookin' sum'n crazy!!), or Bink! on the album. But it'z solid and hot!! B3 is hott and btw copp Attention: Deficit (Wale), Thank Me Later (Drake), Abracadabra (Jay Elect), Grown Kid Syndrome (Pac Div), Man on the Moon (Cudi) and When Fish Ride Bicycles (The Cool Kids)!!! Sodapop gone...
