the alarm alarms me 2 sum degree
wiped th cold out my eyes..caught me by surprise
within 5 minutes i write sum lyrics
burped frm lst night frm eating chicken nd spinach
got up off my feet slap on the robe
stretched my body as anotha day unfolds
the mall dave and buster t.g.i. who knows?
the mall prolly cuz i got 400 bucks n th billfold
so i go dwn stairs i detect a scent
a fragrance of buttermilk nd a touch of mint
tickled my two lil' bruthas..Khi sayin dnt push me
turns out my mom makin pancakes, biscuits and cookies
chocolate 2 b exact it is a sure fact
frm the smile on my face i luved th position i was at
chompin' down at the table feeling so enticed
but something bout this day jus doesnt feel right...


as my mouth is still full i hear a knock upon the door
I hear a car blastin out EPMD "Hardcore"
song is still gd..it hit me 2 the core
as im bout 2 open it my mom said u want sum more?
i crackled it and then i replied may i help you
a man said is dawn james here and i said shes right here
mom said who is tht and i said its one of ur coworkers
but this person wanted to take it a lil further
he pulls out a semiautomatic pistol
missed a shot ducked gave him a fistful
he fell to the floor mom said whts wrong wit u?
while he cryin im on top of him gettin his damn wrist pulled
he bites my arm i scream in pain
mom kickin his butt just a little too much
i git up cracked him n th mouth i said its gettin too old
type mad cuz my pancakes got cold
he pulls a revolver out cocks it back fine
put about two bullets in my spine
he dips out drives off my moms screaming in all her might
while blood is gushing i knew something wasnt right.........
