Hip Hop Might B Bak

Hip Hop might be back and these people might change it.

1. B.o.B. (or Bobby Ray)- ATL-

Guy's pretty nice when it comes 2 creativity, songwriting and lyricism. A self-proclaimed rapper, singer and producer, who started sellin' beatz to rapper Citti at age 15, came out with the singles "Haterz Everywhere" and "I'll Be In The Sky" and been goin' hard since. Last time I saw him, he performed at the ESPY Awards a couple of days ago. All and all, he's the guy that's gonna help Luda and otherz hold down Atlanta for real.
Andre 3000 + Ludacris = B.o.B.

2. Blu. - Inglewood, CA

One word..blu. This guy is the next poet of hip-hop, real talk. From the West Coast, a lot of people think he's the only lyricist frm Cali..Not Tru..His 1st major (sort of) release was a studio album with producer and one half of Emanon, Exile, called Below The Heavens. In my opinion, its probably 1 of the best lyrical LPs ever.period. There hasn't been that much goin' on with B, besides making his collab album with producer Mainframe, but there's gonna be in the future. Keep it comin', Blu.
Common + Nas = Blu
3. The Cool Kids - Chicago, IL

Chuck Inglish & Mikey Rocks handles hip-hop in a whole different way, usin' hard ass kick drums and syncopated basslines 80's style. Their single "Black Mags" and their ground-breakin' debut EP, The Bake Sale, has taken them frm black mouth-yapping, BMX ridin' youngsterz 2 worldwide magic men within a year. They just released a mixtape with DJ Don Cannon entitled Gone Fishin' before finishin' up on their first full-length LP, When Fish Ride Bicycles. Who said Kanye, Lupe and Common ain't the only ones holdin' it down for the Windy City?
Eric B. & Rakim + Stetsasonic = The Cool Kids

4. KiD CuDi - Cleveland, OH/New York, NY
There hasn't been a bangin' songwriter and rapper in the game since Kanye West, but whut a coincidence Yeezy signs the next one to their label, G.O.O.D. Music. Ain't that sumthin'? Reppin' The Queen City, Scott "KiD CuDi" Mescudi released his debut mixtape A KID NAMED CUDI, that has the crazy hit called "Day 'N 'Nite". Now on the way to finishin' up his album, Man on The Moon: The End of Day, Cudder is gettin' on his dreams, real talk.
Kanye West 2.0 is KiD CuDi
5. EMS Crew - Plainfield, NJ
Hailin' outta Jersey, The En Masse Sodality Crew know how to mix a Marvin Gaye sample with a couple of kick drums and a Kenny G saxophone sample wailin' out. Silver Age McFly, First Class Mai & LG Cool started it out as early as middle school and got better and better since then. Their first single "Where Ya Swag At" is doin' good on their MySpace page, www.myspace.com/enmassesodality, and on the way to possibly bein' in associations with Interscope. Ohh Man!!!!!!
6. Jay-Z - Brooklyn, NY
He's Hova, The God MC, J-Hova, S.Dot, Lucky Lefty, Iceberg Slim, Jigga, way more nicknames but most of all, he's Jay-Z. 13 years in the game, reppin' BK 2 the fullest, and one of the best rappers eva. The only rapper to rewrite history without a pen, makin' great hits, such as collabs with Timbaland, Kanye & Just Blaze, he made some of the best albums eva in hip-hop. But he ain't gonna stop there. He's damn near 40, collectively finishin' up the masterpiece known as The Blueprint III, due for release on 9/11. As the greatest once said, "Rumor has it/The Blueprint classic/Couldn't even been stopped by Bin Laden/September 11th marks the era/Forever/of a revolutionary "Jay" Guevara/". Nice.
